A Comfortable Way to Straighten Your Teeth

Teeth can be straightened with orthodontic treatment using either traditional braces or clear aligners.

Invisalign is one of the world’s leading clear aligner systems, offering a discreet and comfortable way to improve your smile. Each set of custom aligners is created using highly accurate 3D digital scans and is carefully fitted to ensure a precise, comfortable fit. While every treatment plan is unique, many patients complete treatment in as little as six months and begin noticing improvements within just a few weeks. Because the aligners are removable, you can continue enjoying your favourite foods and maintain your regular brushing and flossing routine with ease.

I had an excellent experience at this dental office with Dr. Saeed and his team. Dr. Saeed removed my two wisdom teeth in under 20 minutes, and the entire procedure was incredibly smooth and stress-free. Both Dr. Saeed and his assistant, Haidi, took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and what to expect, which made me feel very comfortable and reassured throughout the visit. I also want to mention Ivy at reception, who is always kind, welcoming, and very helpful. Every interaction at the office has been positive. In the past I’ve had fillings and hygiene appointments and the care has consistently been professional and thorough. The entire team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel comfortable. Highly recommended this office!

Perla Dental was one of those rare places where everything just feels genuinely well put together. Dr. Sara has a very calm, confident approach—she doesn’t rush, and you can really see the level of precision in how she works. What I appreciated most was how she paid attention to small details and made sure every step was done thoughtfully, not just clinically but with real care for the outcome. The clinic itself runs so smoothly. The staff are attentive without being overbearing, everything is organized, and the overall experience feels very seamless from check-in to treatment. It’s the kind of dental care that feels both highly professional and genuinely human at the same time.

For a Beautiful Smile and Better Oral Health

Straight teeth do more than enhance your smile. They also play an important role in protecting your oral health and may help reduce the need for more extensive dental treatment in the future.

It is easy to think that crooked teeth are only a cosmetic concern, especially if they are not causing discomfort. However, proper tooth alignment is important for healthy function, effective chewing, and long-term oral health. Teeth that are correctly aligned are often easier to clean and are less likely to experience unnecessary wear over time.

Many people have some degree of crowding or misalignment, which can increase the risk of:

  • Chipped, worn, or damaged teeth.
  • Food becoming trapped between teeth.
  • Difficulty brushing and flossing effectively.
  • A greater chance of developing cavities between teeth.
  • Gum disease, which has been associated with certain overall health conditions, including heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, arthritis, and stroke.

If you are experiencing any of these concerns or would like to learn whether Invisalign is right for you, schedule an appointment with our team. We can evaluate your oral health and recommend the orthodontic treatment option that best suits your smile and goals.

When Is the Right Time to Start?

If you have been considering orthodontic treatment or your dentist has recommended straightening your teeth, starting sooner can help you enjoy a healthier, more confident smile while reducing the risk of future dental problems. Teeth naturally continue to shift over time, and the more they move, the longer and more costly treatment may become.

What Can You Expect Once You Start Your Treatment?

Our goal is to help you achieve a healthy, confident smile by creating a strong foundation for long-term oral health. Properly aligned teeth not only look great but also function more effectively and are easier to keep clean. No matter your age, it is never too late to enjoy the benefits of a straighter smile.

Your Treatment Plan

Your Invisalign journey begins with detailed digital scans of your teeth, allowing us to create a personalised treatment plan. Using advanced Invisalign technology, we can map out how your teeth are expected to move throughout treatment and even show you a preview of your future smile. Once your plan is approved, your custom clear aligners are fabricated specifically for your teeth.

Your First Aligners

When your aligners are ready, we may place small tooth-coloured attachments on certain teeth to help guide their movement. These temporary attachments are discreet, help your aligners fit securely, and are easily removed once treatment is complete.

Follow-Up Appointments

You will receive a series of custom aligners, with each set typically worn for about two weeks before progressing to the next. As you change aligners, your teeth will gradually shift into their planned positions. We will schedule follow-up visits approximately every one to two months to monitor your progress, ensure your treatment is staying on track, and provide your next sets of aligners.

Contact us today

to schedule an initial consultation & exam.

Your consultation will include an examination of everything from your teeth, gums and soft tissues to the shape and condition of your bite. Generally, we want to see how your whole mouth looks and functions. Before we plan your treatment we want to know everything about the health and aesthetic of your smile, and most importantly, what you want to achieve so we can help you get there.

Cost of Invisalign in Stouffville

With many dental insurance plans, Invisalign typically costs about $3,000 to $5,000 or more out of pocket. After a comprehensive exam, we can provide a personalised estimate, review your coverage, and explain your expected costs. Without insurance, treatment usually ranges from $4,000 to $6,000 or more, depending on your needs.

What Determines the Cost of Invisalign?

Invisalign costs vary because every smile is different. We consider:

  • Your current oral health.
  • How much tooth movement is needed.
  • The complexity and length of treatment.

The best way to find out if Invisalign is right for you and what it will cost is to book a consultation. We will assess your teeth, discuss your goals, and create a treatment plan tailored to you.

We offer Invisalign for a wide range of needs, from minor cosmetic changes to more complex cases. If you need care beyond our practice, we will refer you to a trusted specialist.

Do not let crooked teeth affect your confidence or oral health. We are here to help you achieve a healthier, straighter smile.

Frequently Asked Questions

Invisalign is both more comfortable and more discrete than braces. The clear custom-fit trays are hardly noticeable and most people won’t even realize you’re wearing them. Plus, they can be removed for important presentations or dates! The clear trays are also smooth against the inside of your mouth and don’t pinch or scratch like the brackets from braces. If your trays rub on your gums, they can be easily adjusted. Invisalign trays exert a gentler pressure compared to braces and only shift a few teeth at a time. That makes Invisalign orthodontics far more comfortable than conventional methods.
Invisalign makes changes to your teeth very gradually. Minor changes can be made in a few short weeks with little discomfort, and more complex changes can occur over a longer span of time to ensure you stay as comfortable as possible. There may be some discomfort, but if your Invisalign hurts, let us know.
On average, it takes anywhere from 6 to 12 months for your teeth to move into the correct position with Invisalign. Most people start noticing some movement, however, within the first 6 weeks after getting their first set of aligner trays. The more changes you would like to see, the longer it will take no matter what orthodontic option you choose.
Twice a day, remove your tray and clean it and your teeth before putting it back in. If you take your aligner out at any time, always rinse it before you put it back in, and try not to let it sit in open air when you aren’t wearing it. You may soak your aligners in denture cleaner or Invisalign cleaning crystals and carefully rinse them before putting them back in your mouth. Do not eat or drink with your trays in, and do not use toothpaste to clean your trays. We will provide you with detailed home care instructions when you receive your first trays.
Don't eat with your aligners in your mouth. If you expose your aligners to the strong chewing forces that your teeth are trained to exert, you can damage or even crack your aligners, plus it's just messy and not easy to eat with Invisalign in your mouth.
Yes, even when you sleep. They should be worn all day and night, except when eating and drinking. Your clear aligners won't work if they're not constantly shifting your teeth over time, which means you've gotta wear them!
